Wireless Generation Joins Partnership for 21st Century Skills

Washington, DC – January 30, 2012- Partnership for 21st Century Skills (P21), the leading national organization advocating for 21st century readiness for every student, is expanding its broad coalition of businesses, nonprofits, and foundations by welcoming Wireless Generation as a member.

“We are pleased to add Wireless Generation to the P21 Strategic Council,” said Lil Kellogg, Chair of P21 and Vice President of Education Networks of America.  “Their forward-thinking leadership in 21st century education is a sign of growing support from diverse stakeholders seeking to work together to support 21st century readiness for every student.”

Wireless Generation serves more than 200,000 educators and three million students, producing a stream of educational innovations to help schools in all 50 states improve teaching and learning. Wireless Generation products include adaptive curriculum for differentiated instruction and teacher-centered, targeted assessment and analysis tools, as well as organizational change management, professional development, school turnaround services, and open source initiatives.

David Stevenson, VP, Business Development and Government Affairs for Wireless Generation, will represent Wireless Generation on P21’s Strategic Council.

As a catalyst organization in the 21st Century Skills Movement, P21 works with education leaders, the business community, and state and federal policymakers to ensure that the U.S. education system equips students with rigorous content knowledge and the skills they need for college, career, and citizenship.
