Education Sales Management OPENS Fourth Location; Company Expands Operations To Third Facility in Colorado and Fourth Overall
Education Sales Management — Saturday, April 12, 2008
(HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO – April 7, 2008) Education Sales Management (ESM), a Highlands Ranch-based student admissions and sales center focused exclusively in the education marketplace, opened its third Colorado facility and fourth overall. The new site, located in the Southlands shopping district in Aurora, will eventually house 175 employees in 18,400 square feet of new office space. The facility opened with 24 employees and the company plans to triple the number of employees in Aurora by the end of the year.
ESM’s new location is the company’s first site constructed around IP (Internet Protocol) telephony. It was designed with energy saving power systems and green features such as energy efficient lighting and motion sensors that turn lights off during hours with low occupancy. The interior includes a mixture of aesthetic appeal and functional utility, such as employee "quiet" and break rooms, an Internet kiosk equipped lunchroom, sweeping curves and contrasting color. The company plans to show off its new facility to employees and their families with a grand opening on April 19.
"We are very excited about our new facility,” said Rick Fort, who founded ESM in 1995. “It offers our employees an attractive blend of high tech and green features in an area with world class shopping and restaurants within walking distance.”
ESM has been recognized as a “Best Company to Work For” in Colorado and Ohio. The company pays employees wages that are 20-30 percent above the call center industry standard, and employees typically have two-or four-year college degrees.
ESM helps schools and colleges follow up on inquiries from prospective students and works with students through all phases of the student lifecycle. Many colleges advertise heavily on the Internet but typically have the resources to respond to just 20-30 percent of all the inquiries they get through their Web sites and other online channels. ESM’s call center technology can increase that response rate to 60-80 percent of prospective students. The company’s employees then transfer calls directly to in-house admissions teams, set up campus appointments, or help students through the entire admissions process. ESM also provides retention services to help students avoid problems that can become roadblocks to graduation.
