College Stores Receive $8.9 Million To Fund Textbook Rentals

The awarding of nearly $9 million in federal grants to fund pilot textbook rental programs at 11 colleges and universities will improve textbook affordability and help establish best practices for such programs, thereby encouraging their implementation at more schools, according to the National Association of College Stores (NACS). SRI Awarded Grant To Validate Web-based Classroom Assessment Tool

SRI International announced that it has been awarded a $1.8 million grant by the Institute of Education Sciences, part of the U.S. Department of Education, to investigate and strengthen online assessments that can help teachers diagnose student understanding of a subject.
