Arlington, Va. (via PRWEB) April 17, 2017 - Hobsons®, the global leader in student success technology, announces a strategic partnership to bring its Starfish® Enterprise Success Platform to Northeastern higher education institutions that are members of the Northeast Regional Computing Program (NERCOMP).

NERCOMP and Hobsons announced the agreement at NERCOMP’s recent Annual Meeting in Providence, R.I., offering members incentives for the Starfish platform. Today, more than 30 NERCOMP members, including Syracuse University, Quinsigamond Community College, and Worcester State University, rely on Starfish to help improve student outcomes and increase retention.
“Since implementing Starfish, our new Online Liaison service at Quinsigamond Community College has been able to increase the online pass rates of our students by 6.5 percent,” said Pat Schmohl, dean of distance learning and professional development at the college in Worcester, Mass. “Our faculty have said that having someone (other than them) contact the student sends a message that QCC cares! These are only a few of the benefits we see from Starfish.”
