Turnitin Integrates Feedback Studio into Kannu LMS

Integration Makes It Easier for Students To Submit Essays, Receive Feedback from Their Professors, and Generate Similarity Reports

OAKLAND, Calif.--(via BUSINESS WIRE)--Students and faculty in colleges using the Kannu learning management system from Kadenze, Inc. now have a seamless integration with Turnitin Feedback Studio. Feedback Studio is an instructional technology that supports college and university faculty as they teach students how to improve their writing and develop original thought.

College and university students are expected to have much more sophisticated writing skills than they did in their high school years, which include knowing how to properly cite and reference sources in essays. With Feedback Studio, students submit their papers, receive feedback and grades from their professors, and receive similarity reports that flag potential problem areas all within a single platform. And with the Kanuu integration, this happens within the college’s LMS so that all collaborative learning tools function in concert.

“The high-level thought processes and original content expected of college students requires that they have the know-how and the tools to analyze their essays for possible content matches,” said Meredith May, director of marketing for Turnitin. “The integration of Feedback Studio with Kannu is a perfect match, making sure that students and faculty have an easier process to improve quality in student essays; to ease the submission, feedback, and grading processes; and make sure essays properly cite and reference source material and content.”

“Turnitin has been a trailblazer in educational software over the last 20 years, serving something like 30M+ students worldwide. We couldn’t be more thrilled to offer the best integration possible to many of our partner schools who rely on Turnitin’s tools every day,” said Jordan Hochenbaum, chief creative officer and VP engineering at Kadenze, Inc.
